VIA Launches Microsoft Teams Integration

VIA launches Microsoft Teams integration for VIA Contact Centre and via UC, adding call routing, user management and dashboards.

VIA Microsoft Teams integration

VIA, one of the leading companies in the UK hosted Skype for Business market, recently announced their new integration with Microsoft Teams. VIA celebrated the launch with an event on the 9th of May, which  featured demonstrations from Poly, Sennheiser, and Jabra - all of which brought their new headsets and hardware to the event.

VIA's primary products, including VIA Contact centre and via UC allow organisations to consolidate their video, voice, instant messaging and conferencing solutions into a single solution. The new VIA Microsoft Teams integration will work with all the company's existing products. This new update will also bring advanced call centre features, call routing, user management, and dashboard solutions into the VIA experience.

Administrators on the VIA platform will be able to manage all of their company's telephony stack through an easy-to-use management portal. What's more, end-users will have the familiar and comfortable experience of using Microsoft Teams.

The event comprised a champagne breakfast, complete with presentations, and demonstrations from VIA and other companies.

According to Alex Tebbs, VIA's Sales Director, speaking at the event, the company was looking forward to launching its integration of Teams. VIA believes that Teams is the future of communications in the workplace. The Infrastructure Director for VIA, Edward Worthington, also commented that the exciting new integration helps to highlight VIA's position as a telephony specialist.

At the event, VIA hosted demonstrations from their hardware partners, speaker sessions, and there was even a guest appearance from Jack Mitchell. The VIA-sponsored, British GT4 2018 champion took to to the stage and met with guests throughout the day.
