Cisco has unveiled new integrations between its Webex platform and Apple devices to offer more flexibility in hybrid working environments.
The features allow people to use their iPhone for Mobile Camera Share and Continuity Camera.
According to Cisco, the features offer in-office, remote, and hybrid workers the tools they need when working in different environments.
Ahmad Zureiki, Director of Collaboration Business, Cisco Middle East and Africa, commented: "Today, people across the Middle East expect flexibility when it comes to work.
"True hybrid work means being empowered to use your favourite devices to work seamlessly in the office, at home and everywhere in between.
"The latest collaboration solutions from Webex signify another step towards empowering workforces with greater choice and beyond the office."
Mobile Camera Share
The Mobile Camera Share feature allows iPhone and iPad users to share content from the front or rear-facing camera of their device via the Webex Meetings app.
When doing so, users can also annotate what they are sharing at the same time as a way of boosting collaboration.
The feature means that frontline workers can communicate effectively and in real time instead of sending static images or screenshots.
Mobile Camera Share allows other meeting participants to see what is happening as if they were there and note their input onscreen.
Continuity Camera
The Continuity Camera is designed for macOS Ventura, which allows Mac users to use their iPhone as a webcam.
Webex customers can use the iPhone camera to unlock video effects like Portrait Mode, Studio Light and Centre Stage.
