Zoom Events and Swoogo Partner on Innovating Hybrid Events

Zoom and Swoogo’s native integration aims to simplify hybrid events, syncing registration and event data across Zoom Events and Swoogo.

Zoom Events and Swoogo hybrid events partnership

Zoom and event management platform Swoogo have announced a partnership to deliver exceptional hybrid events for customers.

Zoom Events, the event branch of the tech giant, also launched a forthcoming native integration at Las Vegas's IMEX 2023. This collaboration intends to "bridge the gap between in-person and virtual audiences for the most effective hybrid event experience", as described by Zoom.

Wei Li, Head of Zoom Events, Webinar, Sessions, and Chat at Zoom, commented:

This integration has the potential to bring together larger and more engaged audiences, making events and conferences easier to access for everyone. Hybrid events are the future. With the power of Zoom and Swoogo, it's easier than ever for hosts to bring together audiences of all sizes and for attendees to join no matter where they are in the world."

Swoogo and Zoom Events aim to seamlessly empower event professionals to merge both platforms' capabilities. This will simplify the development of high-quality hybrid events. Swoogo leverages the power of event registration to produce personalised and bespoke events that seek to produce high engagement and impact.

Zoom Events, launched by Zoom in 2021, creates connections between on-premises experiences for in-person attendees and virtual audiences. Zoom Events utilises the Zoom mobile app for engagement and Production Studio to produce TV-quality production.

"With this new collaboration, event organisers finally have a unified solution to effectively build, lead, and manage virtual, hybrid, and in-person events," added Sam Harkness, SVP of Partnerships at Swoogo. "Swoogo is thrilled to announce our partnership with Zoom Events, which will modernise hybrid events for event organisers and attendees."

Through the Zoom and Swoogo integration, customers can create events within Zoom Events or Swoogo and automatically sync event data between platforms smoothly.

This native integration will be commercially available in early 2024.

Zoom Busy With Key Partnerships This Week

Earlier this week, Zoom also announced a partnership with Walmart Business to offer Walmart Business+ customers 40 percent off Zoom One Pro Annual.

Walmart Business is an e-commerce platform that supports SMBs to save time and money. The Zoom One discounted product enables SMBs to access the full Zoom platform at a more affordable price point and foster better collaboration and communication among employees and their customers.

The partnership was prompted by the challenges many SMBs face that can impact growth. To overcome these challenges, Walmart Business+ customers now have access to effective collaboration tools at a lower price point.
