More Specifics On Zoom Workplace for Clinicians
Zoom suggests that the heart of Zoom Workplace for Clinicians is the clinical notes feature, which is designed to streamline documentation for healthcare providers. Building on its partnership with Suki, a leading AI healthcare technology provider, Zoom seeks to enable the capture of patient visit notes for both telehealth and in-person consultations in standardised formats like SOAP (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan).
This feature includes AI-generated clinical notes tailored to medical specialities, patient visit transcription, editable note functionality for physicians, and seamless integration with select electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Zoom asserts that physicians spend an average of 15.5 hours per week on administrative tasks. The vendor aims to reduce this burden and allow providers to focus more on patient care. Zoom adds that studies indicate that AI-driven clinical note solutions can cut physician note-taking time by up to 70 percent, bolstering efficiency and improving the patient experience.
Zoom affirms that Workplace for Clinicians will support telehealth (virtual meetings) and in-person appointments (ambient meetings), streamlining pre- and post-visit workflows for greater efficiency. The vendor adds that clinical notes can be easily generated with the click of a button on the Clinical Notes icon in the Zoom Workplace app.
