Pioneers in the productivity and artificial intelligence space, Voicera, recently announced their decision to acquire "Wrappup" - a company responsible for one of the most popular AI note-taking apps in the market. The apps created by Wrappup make the most of AI technology to offer predictive insights into meetings, and Voicera hopes that the acquisition will help them to enhance their AI assistant, Eva.
According to the CEO for Voicera, Omar Tawakol, the company has been watching Wrappup since the brand won the first hackathon award. They're thrilled to bring the community into the Voicera team.
Unveiling the New Voicera App
The former CEO of Wrappup, Rami Salman noted in a press release that he built his company on the idea that it was important to squeeze the most important moments out of meetings. By joining forces with Voicera, Wrappup believes that their ambitions will be taken to the next level, with incredible AI and tech stack combinations. The initial result of the Wrappup acquisition for Voicera has been the introduction of a new app - available on Android and iOS platforms.
The recent app allows the Voicera AI assistant "Eva" to join conversations on the go. Additionally, the company also unveiled "AI-powered" predictions for meeting and conference experiences. Voicera's enterprise assistant can listen for crucial moments in a conversation and automatically transcribe them, for easier note-taking.
The "predictive highlights" feature takes advantage of the Voicera "rich voice AI" to identify crucial moments, generate email summaries, and provide comprehensive transcriptions to users. Eva can even act as a proxy for employees at meetings they can't attend.
