UC Today attended Cloud Comms Summit 2019 which concluded in Washington earlier in September. The latest iteration of the Cloud Comms Summit is organised by Cavell Group and the Cloud Communications Alliance.
Voxbone's Senior Solutions Architect, Mehmet Hussein joins Patrick for this interview. Voxbone powers many of the industry's most recognisable brands behind the scenes with its combination of communication integration functions. Although some of these names provide great references Hussein explains that the brand is not as widely recognised in the industry as it perhaps should be. This year's summit allows Voxbone to promote its brand and publicise some of the work that is doing for the world's leading communication businesses.
Communication integration capability was one of the key focuses at this year's conference and this is hugely encouraging for Voxbone as Hussein explains. Voxbone believe that the industry should be based on open standards and platforms, and that the main CPaaS providers will be driving a transition away from siloes towards that in the future. Hussein tells Patrick that Voxbone can enable resellers to take their communication platform of choice and use that, along with Voxbone’s API suite to tailor solutions for end customer vertical markets and reduce mundane administration tasks that previously would have occupied huge resource.
As well as its work with partners Voxbone also offers a wide ranging portfolio of solutions directly to end user organisations. Enterprise businesses are looking to leverage the power of embedded communication functionality and Voxbone have a key focus in this area.
