UC Today attended Cloud Comms Summit 2019 which concluded in Washington earlier in September. The latest iteration of the Cloud Comms Summit is organised by Cavell Group and the Cloud Communications Alliance.
John Bell, SVP for Product Management at Bandwidth, joins us for this video during the event. Firstly Patrick asks Bell about the latest enhancements that Bandwidth has recently added to its number porting solution. Bell explains more about the solution and why Bandwidth believe it will be transformative for enterprise and service provider customers. Number porting has traditionally been a time consuming labour intensive process but with Bandwidth's porting API the time and effort involved can be reduced dramatically.
Finally Patrick asks Bell about a panel discussion he was involved in during this year's Cloud Comms Summit. Bell summaries the discussion that took place around driving enterprise adoption of APIs, application programming interfaces, within CPaaS opportunities.
