All The Big News From Infocomm 2024
It’s been another momentous Infocomm show this year, with myriad major UC and AV news.
For example, MAXHUB launched the XCore Kit Pro for Microsoft Teams at Infocomm 2024, which it created to enhance bring your own device (BYOD) meeting setups.
Other significant news is that Nureva announced a new companion app to streamline and enhance audio system setup and management. The web-based Nureva App is crafted to streamline the setup and management of its HDL pro series systems, offering a user-friendly interface for configuring and controlling a wide array of audio device settings.
Meanwhile, Biamp has announced its new Workplace platform for centralised AV system management. Biamp Workplace consolidates features from Evoko Workplace and SageVue into a unified solution for centralised AV monitoring, management, and optimisation across Biamp’s portfolio.
Elsewhere, two prominent businesses joined Logitech‘s Collaboration Program. VisibilityOne joined the Program to offer a shared, innovative solution for video conferencing management. VisibilityOne and Logitech are producing a comprehensive remote monitoring and management service.
Lastly, Vyopta has joined Logitech‘s Collaboration Program to offer valuable insights into meeting rooms and collaboration spaces. Providing critical information via the CollabOS API, Vyopta and Logitech intend to offer critical visibility into space utilisation.
NICE Launches New UCaaS Solution At $5 Per User Per Month
NICE has unveiled a new UCaaS solution priced at an eye-catching $5 per user per month.
In a crowded market like UCaaS, it takes a particularly compelling sell or disruptive niche to hit the ground running with a new product, and NICE’s emphasis on affordability, quick implementation, and rapid ROI in the form of its new 1CX solution intends to address exactly that.
1CX is paired with NICE’s CXone platform and aims to provide an all-in-one cloud comms offering that removes complexity, enhances productivity, and elevates every conversation.

Kramer ‘Enhances UCC Domain’ With Ashton Bentley Acquisition
Kramer has announced its acquisition of UK-based collaboration services provider Ashton Bentley.
Both businesses assert that Ashton Bentley’s solutions enhance Kramer’s current offerings by providing an integrated and seamless approach. This strategic move allows Kramer to deliver a comprehensive audio-visual experience, encompassing a coherent, end-to-end approach to hybrid conferencing.

Deutsche Telekom, Mitel Empower Channel With Joint Comms Solution
Mitel and Deutsche Telekom have partnered to empower the channel with a shared communications solution, “Unify X powered by Telekom”.
Unify X powered by Telekom is a bundle which combines Mitel’s Unify communications and collaboration offering with Telekom’s broadband portfolio.
Christian Jessel, Head of DACH at Mitel, said:
This new step reinforces the strong relationship between Deutsche Telekom and Mitel. By making Unify X powered by Telekom available to the channel community, we broaden our common market reach through the resellers sales force and enable more customers and partners to benefit from a UC solution that already proved to be successful and relevant on the market.”
Deutsche Telekom emphasises that its service addresses the increasing demand for hosted or cloud-based PBX (Private Branch Exchange) systems.
This trend is driven by companies seeking flexible and cost-effective solutions to connect their employees, including those working remotely. The cloud PBX service offers several advantages, including reduced hardware requirements and simplified integration for remote work, making it an attractive option for modern businesses.
