Zoom Introduces Noise Suppression
Zoom Video Communications is easily one of the biggest household names in the world right now. The company offers a go-to solution for multi-media conversations and collaboration, in a world where face-to-face connectivity just isn’t an option anymore. When COVID-19 struck, Zoom’s official meeting solution solved one problem – maintaining communication.
However, as more people have switched to working from home, we’ve discovered that “anywhere” environments can often be very distracting. It’s not just messy backgrounds that both us, but background noise too – like kids and dogs barking. Fortunately, Zoom has released a new and upgraded noise suppression feature – perfect for solving this problem.
The noise suppression feature will help to enhance voice quality for human conversation, while blocking out excess noise.
AVC Technologies is Buying Kandy Communications
American Virtual Cloud Technologies recently announced an exciting new purchase. The company agreed that they would buy the Kandy Communications business from Ribbon, with a definitive agreement. The new acquisition will connect 3 decades of experience from AVC technologies in providing amazing customer service for enterprise customers, with Kandy’s proprietary and pure-play solutions for CPaaS, UCaaS, and CCaaS.
AVC believes that this new purchase will significantly increase the vision and growth strategy of the company, as it becomes a more powerful provider in the communications landscape. Ribbon also feels confident about the vision and talent behind the AVC brand. Going forward, it will be exciting to see what AVC Technologies does with the incredible technology available in Kandy. Microsoft Teams Build Edition
Microsoft has rapidly launched a range of new features and functionalities for today’s business users – perfect for the ever-changing environment. In a recent “Build Edition” announcement, the company revealed that Microsoft Teams will now support some exciting new features. A Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code Teams extension will streamline and enhance the app publishing process going forward.
Other updates include a range of Power Integrations that span across things like Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, Power BI, and Power Apps. Microsoft Teams Graph also gets an uplift with new APIs for Shifts, Teams, and in-app notifications too. Teams users will also have the option to reach external audiences with Booking features. There are tons of fantastic new updates to explore.
Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise Partners with RingCentral
Two market leaders in the communication industry are coming together in an exciting new collaboration. RingCentral, cloud comms experts, and Alcatel Lucent Enterprise – leaders in CPaaS and other comms solutions, are working together on a strategic partnership. The new service to come out of this integration is Rainbow Office powered by RingCentral. The offer will be unique to the Alcatel Lucent Enterprise landscape.
Both of the companies in this collaboration are planning to develop programs jointly, leading the cloud communications services for the enterprise market. According to CEO and chairman, Vlad Shmunis, RingCentral is excited to connect with ALE and bring industry-leading services to customers and partners going forward.
