Leading global provider of collaboration technology, Avocor, recently announced the arrival of its new Aquarius Workspace Intelligence solution. The subscription-based turnkey software service operates seamlessly alongside the AVW-6555 from Avocor, the first and only Windows display currently Microsoft Teams certified. It also works with the AVW-5555 interactive screen. Both products come equipped with integrated IoT Azure sensors.

Avocor Aquarius delivers real-time business intelligence about meeting space usage and the environment. There’s support for reading impact on room temperature when attendee numbers increase, presence detection, light conditions, and humidity. The data contributes to better meeting room wellbeing and helps leaders to make better decisions about space management.

Improved Workspace Intelligence

Unlike other solutions for workplace analytics, the Avocor offering doesn’t need a lot of sensor deployment and service contracts. There’s no demand for excessive custom development either. Instead, a subscription-based service will automatically pull information from a W-Series display from Avocor, equipped with IoT sensors powered by Azure. The solution ensures a real-time dashboard that’s easy to read and brimming with information for better decision making.

The Avocor Aquarius software delivers intelligence on meeting room information for more than 30 product and room elements, including number of attendees and meetings, average temperature changes in meetings, and more. Data collected from the solution supports IT managers in taking immediate action when re-evaluating the meeting room software and hardware, as well as planning future meeting room integrations.

Aside from providing valuable data, the Avocor system is secure, fast, and easy to use. Intelligence is simple enough for any business to access. All you need to do is install the display, log-in and connect your display to the Aquarius system to get started.

According to the CEO of Avocor, Scott Hix, commercial office space and real estate are at a premium right now. The rise of remote working and hybrid teams means that more companies are looking for ways to invest in the best tools to enable communication anywhere at speed. Adding support for Workspace intelligence into the W-Series displays offered by Avocor means that the company can make it easier for management teams to access valuable data about meeting room management and make better data-driven decisions.

The Workspace Intelligence system is now available for all W-Series displays either on a monthly or annual payment basis. Avocor displays are supported through a global network of reseller and distribution partners.
