Huawei has announced a new global product to support the sharing of ideas in the modern workspace, and educational environment. The Huawei IdeaHub port is the first collaboration whiteboard designed with anti-blue light technology.
The tech, certified by TÜV Rheinland, promises to reduce harmful blue light to provide a more immersive (and safe) collaborative experience. The IdeaHub Board will also offer innovative functionality in the form of smart writing, wireless projection and more, to enhance meeting, training, and educational settings.
According to VP of Huawei Intelligent solutions, Pan Yong, the acceleration of the digital economy has made online work and education more “normal” for every company and person. The IdeaHub series will help users in a range of environment to adapt to this new cloud-based space for collaboration.
Delivering More Comfortable Collaboration
The Huawei IdeaHub board is the latest addition to a series of collaboration tools created by the company. The board is specially designed to support meeting rooms, smart classrooms, open office spaces, and more. According to the Huawei team, the growing dependence on digital screens also makes eye health a significant concern for many people. The introduction of the blue-light proof technology from the Huawei IdeaHub board addresses this concern.
The new solution for protection against blue light is unique from Huawei because traditional offerings don’t fully filter blue light. Older options also tend to add yellow tints to the screen. Huawei IdeaHub board helps to ensure you get a consistent visual experience, with ambient light adaption and true filtering. This provides more visual comfort and protection while allowing for true and vibrant colour.
The Huawei IdeaHub Board also offers unique features for enhancing user experience. Based on Cast+ technology, the dropdown bar projection function allows users to project content from a phone to a larger screen instantly, without extra apps. Users can also control their phone from the larger screen. Privacy protection also ensures that personal information isn’t shared during projection.
Enabling Better Interactions
For whiteboard writing experiences, the Huawei IdeaHub uses the zero-gap bonding technology and software functionalities to deliver a smoother writing experience with ultra-low latency of only 35 ms. Writing on the board is as simple as using a pen and a pad, and intelligent graphic or text recognition allows for more efficient experiences too.
CTO of Huawei Intelligent Solutions, Simon Dai said that the Huawei IdeaHub Board is at the cutting edge of the industry, with an app gallery that includes an IdeaHub section. Users can freely download all the apps they choose, and the board supports open SDKs, to work with industry partners on building better solutions.
