Patrick and Tom record a monthly podcast focusing on Microsoft’s communication and collaboration platforms and now the remote Teams recordings are available as a talking heads video, with added enhancements!

In this video Patrick and Tom take a look to see if there is any definite date for organisations to migrate from Skype for Business to Microsoft Teams. Tom explains that there is no deadline date but organisations should be considering their migration strategy if they aren’t doing so already.

Tom also gives Patrick a rundown of all the other major updates. Teams will now be installed by default as part of Office Pro Plus packages and also some suitable tenancies will also be considered for a potential automatic upgrades from Skype for Business. Patrick and Tom also cover off updates from ISE 2019 and the news that Microsoft have now certified another Session Border Controller for Teams.

Another area of interest are the new industry specific Microsoft Teams templates that are now available for the Education, Retail and Healthcare markets.
