A surge in demand for Crexendo’s unified communications as a service (UCaaS) platform has brought its global end-user total past the five million mark.

The business analytics and consultancy firm Frost & Sullivan has calculated Crexendo to be the third largest and fastest-growing software platform in North America, with nearly double the growth rate of the top two platform providers in the UCaaS industry.

To give a further sense of its speed of growth, Crexendo’s platform had around 1.7 million users when it acquired NetSapiens in June 2021.

Describing itself as a “premier provider of cloud communication platform software and UCaaS offerings”, Crexendo has more than 230 partners who use its platform for their own customers, adding to the total number of end-users.

‘Number One Customer-Rated Platform’

Crexendo’s software platform includes access to more than 400 applications via its application programming interfaces (APIs).

This includes a number of AI-powered technologies, which help the platform to continue to grow alongside the needs of customers and offer innovative solutions to help them succeed.

On its website, the company refers to it as the “number one customer-rated UCaaS and CCaaS platform”, which appears to be proven right by the recent explosion in adoption figures.

In fact, due to its astonishing rate of growth, Crexendo has announced that it will only announce end-user milestones when it increases by one million. Presumably, the company is planning to sail through the tens and hundreds of thousands of end-user numbers at a much quicker rate than before.

We only need to look as far back as May this year to find another end-user figure announcement from Crexendo, in which it celebrated crossing the 4.5 million milestone.

It also certainly reflects a confident stance for cloud communications specialists, which is also evident through the company’s view of itself as being in a strong position within the market and needing to take a front seat when it comes to launching cutting-edge solutions to empower its customers.

In March 2024, Mavenir and Crexendo formed a strategic and technological partnership to share their respective CCaaS and UCaaS solutions.

Crexendo will offer CCaaS to its service providers, while Mavenir will have a mobile-optimized UCaaS solution for its mobile network partners. Service providers can rebrand both solutions.
