IT specialist and enterprise mobility expert Intercity Technology have recently invested around £10 million into the launch and creation of “Touch Technology”, an exciting new solution for global UC, which offers a significant alternative to other players in the existing market.

Developed by in-house engineers and protected through a global patent, the platform, named “Touch Technology”, is designed to transform business communications, improve productivity, and allow for enhanced collaboration through the delivery of integrated voice solutions, mobility, video conferencing, mobility, and screen-sharing. Additionally, it offers collaborative tools across the workspace.

An Instant Success

Touch Technology has already seen a successful adoption from several different global brands. The UC interface is a solution that consolidates numerous devices into a simple and easy-to-use environment, integrating remote users and enabling seamless communication at work. Touch Technology can also be accessed in a mobile-first solution without any fixed infrastructure required. This means that deployment is quick for any employee-owned or company-owned device – ensuring business agility.

Alongside a user-friendly management platform, the solution also offers a complete 24/7 maintenance and monitoring solution. Touch Technology comes with a completely open API, and it integrates fully with a range of other business systems including the Microsoft Dynamics creation, and Sales Cloud from Salesforce. This helps organisations to streamline their business processes more effectively.

According to the CEO for Intercity Technology, Andrew Jackson, Touch Technology allows for global brands to embrace and benefit the innovative technology around them. InterCity feels that they have created an intuitive new solution that may be able to utterly transform the way that businesses function in the modern environment. Since productivity development is crucial to current success, Touch Technology will allow organisations the power that they need to ensure simpler and more effective communication and collaboration across their business platforms.

A Great Move for Scalability

According to information from Lee Hull, the executive director for Intercity technology, a significant amount of investment has been entered into the development of the solution that Touch Technology represents. Over the last two years, the in-house team has worked extensively to improve and evolve the offering for all clients. Thanks to things like scalability and Global coverage, Touch Technology will mean that more businesses can access support around the world, working smarter, and getting more from their team.
