Mida Solutions has announced it has agreed a strategic partnership with Middle East and Africa (MEA) value-added distributor, FVC. FVC focuses on providing solutions for unified communications, unified collaboration, audio-visual, infrastructure and information security and has dedicated offices in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Morocco and an expanded presence in Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Algeria.

The two companies have signed an official agreement to work on common opportunities in the region. Under the agreement, the two companies will work jointly to offer a complete suite of UC applications for Microsoft Teams in MEA markets and to help customers transitioning to Microsoft Teams. The strategic partnership will allow enterprises in MEA to count on a local trusted distributor for advanced UC applications for Teams.

There are substantial synergies between FVC and Mida Solutions, both of which are partners of Ribbon Communications. Ribbon’s Session Border Controller (SBC) offering enables direct routing to ensure reliable connections and control for Mida’s UC solutions for Teams. This powerful portfolio includes Mida Solutions’ C3 Cloud Contact Center, Attendant Console and Recorder for Teams products.

Mida C3 – Cloud Contact Center for Teams is a turnkey solution that allows professional call management functions while being integrated into the Teams client that operators are already familiar with. They include queue management, advanced distribution algorithms, customizable automated attendant and historical or real-time KPIs on the contact center activities.

Mida Attendant Console for Teams provides receptionists with an easy-to-use professional application to manage multiple calls simultaneously and rapidly, directly from the Teams client. The integration with Salesforce and Dynamics helps customers’ service personnel to be more efficient, tracking all relevant information in the company CRM.

The Mida Recorder application for Teams ensures enterprises’ valuable communications in Teams are safely stored via the plug and play application. The system can easily be configured for total or selective recording and the application works behind the scenes archiving files and optionally compressing and/or encrypting them. This provides a single platform where all recordings are archived and stored.

From a topology point of view, Mida UC applications for Microsoft Teams utilise Ribbon’s SBC architecture, which is certified for Direct Routing by Microsoft.

Both the Contact Center and the Attendant Console offer easy integration with other Microsoft 365 products – including Power BI – which empower operators with all the information they need to perform their jobs and exceed customers’ expectations.
