What has been your business/work highlight of 2024 so far?

My business highlight of 2024 so far is attending my fourth Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. MWC is an amazing event and I really enjoy getting an international perspective.

Who is your business hero and why?

My great friend and mentor is Scott Williford. Scott brought me into the telecom industry 30 years ago and has continued to positively influence my personal and professional life ever since. Not only is he a successful entrepreneur, but he is also passionate about making a difference in the world and lives that out daily.

What’s the biggest business mistake you’ve made and what did you learn from it?

One of the biggest business mistakes I’ve made is sometimes not thinking big enough. Not all aspirations are realised, but you will fail at everything you don’t try.

What’s the most inspirational book you’ve ever read and why?

Visioneering by Andy Stanley. It really helped me understand, cultivate, protect, and implement my professional vision.

What’s the biggest challenge you face in your role in 2024?

The biggest challenge I face in 2024 is continuing to grow my understanding of AI, how it really works, how it is changing, and what the implications for the future are.

What technology will have the greatest impact on your business this year and why?

AI. The continuing evolution is changing everything we interact with.
