Salesforce has announced the general availability of AgentExchange, its new community and marketplace for its flagship Agentforce agentic AI solution.

AgentExchange is Salesforce’s iteration of its landmark AppExchange marketplace but geared around its new AgentForce series of AI agents or “digital labour platform”. Among its various agents are several compelling offerings from Salesforce partners geared around empowering the employee experience, including agents from Workday and DocuSign.

Alice Steinglass, EVP & GM of Platform, Integration and Automation at Salesforce, commented:

AgentExchange empowers customers to seamlessly integrate trusted AI solutions within their workflow. Now, our developer community can directly tap the expertise of our partner ecosystem to get the right industry-specific solutions so they can build and implement AI agents and be the pioneers in turning their businesses into Agentforce companies.”

AgentExchange debuts with 200+ partners and hundreds of prebuilt actions, topics, and templates rigorously vetted for security and customer standards. These solutions aspire to enable organisations to rapidly deploy AI agents, enhancing productivity, efficiency, and innovation across industries.

Among the most eye-catching use cases for enhancing employee experience are Docusign’s agents, who can generate agreements, route for signatures, track status, and accrue valuable insights.

Meanwhile, Workday’s AI-driven agents can optimise employee self-service workflows, automating tasks like onboarding, benefits management, and career development. These agents seek to improve efficiency by reducing HR workloads while enhancing the overall employee experience.

Box’s integration with Agentforce allows AI agents to extract insights from unstructured data and take action based on that information. Using natural language processing, these agents are pitched as being able to interact seamlessly with Box content, enhancing data-driven decision-making.

“When we launched AppExchange in 2005, it helped our customers get even more value from our platform with prebuilt apps, workflows, and integrations,” added Brian Landsman, EVP & GM, Global Business Development & Partnerships at Salesforce. It also gave our partners an opportunity to participate in the emerging cloud economy and build thriving businesses.”

“With AgentExchange, we’re doing much the same — opening up Agentforce for partners, startups, and Agentblazers to participate in the digital labour market and build agentic AI on Salesforce.”

More Information on AgentExchange and Agentforce’s New Features

Salesforce’s AgentExchange and Agentforce introduce new features to enhance AI-driven agent solutions. Partners and “Agentblazers” can now build four types of agentic components: Actions to expand agent capabilities with custom integrations, Prompt templates for consistent interactions, Topics to refine agent focus, and Agent templates that combine multiple elements into comprehensive AI solutions.

AgentExchange simplifies AI solution discovery, allowing users to explore and deploy trusted solutions via Salesforce’s marketplace or Agent Builder. New out-of-the-box Slack and CRM actions further streamline workflows. Additionally, businesses can access industry-specific AI solutions and collaborate within the Agentblazer ecosystem, driving innovation in agentic AI.

Agentforce Turns Slack Into An All-In-One Digital HQ

In September, Salesforce-owned Slack integrated AgentForce directly into its platform. Agentforce aims to boost Slack user productivity with AI-powered CRM insights and actionable instructions for agents.

Slack users can access Agentforce’s generative AI directly within the platform for insights and task assistance. Additionally, Slack is integrating third-party AI agents from Anthropic, Adobe, Cohere, and Perplexity, along with a new channel type that links Salesforce CRM records to Slack conversations.
