Leading communications provider BT, recently announced a new carrier agreement with Zoom. This partnership will allow BT to provide a managed service with networking solutions to offer enhanced user experiences. The Zoom solution expands BT’s selection of cloud-based video and audio collaboration services available to multinational customers.
The decision to bring Zoom Meetings into the landscape follows the signing of a new carrier agreement between the two brands. The agreement will make BT the first global provider to offer a fully managed service featuring a choice of integration and connectivity options. The solution also comes with enhanced security features and end-to-end experience monitoring.
The New Zoom and BT Experience
Companies accessing Zoom managed services through BT will have the option to choose from a range of connectivity solutions, including global SIP, internet, MPLS, and PSTN.
There’s also a range of security options to choose from, including communication encryptions, and protection for customer user IDs. Customers can also access resilient and private MPLS connections, alongside dedicated network gateways and handy user adoption support solutions. The user adoption programmes provide a simple education on how users can keep their meetings as secure as possible.
The latest agreement enables BT to provide Zoom Rooms too, which is the extendable software-focused system for conference rooms from Zoom.
According to the Zoom Chief Revenue Officer, Ryan Azus, the company chose BT as a global managed service provider for a reason. Zoom wanted BT because it stands out as an established leader in the global market.
A Step Forward for Zoom and BT

BT offers in-depth enterprise video, voice, cloud, security, and networking solutions for its customers.
