Dubber has announced it’s it’s among the first unified recording solutions to receive the compliance-based recording certification from Microsoft Teams.

Achieving this certification requires companies to submit their services for extensive third-party approved testing.

During the tests, call recording solutions are examined for their performance within the Microsoft Azure landscape, their quality assurance, and interoperability with the Teams user experience. Microsoft also pays close attention to marketing opportunities, customer support, security, and compliance measures taken by certified companies.

Achieving Microsoft Approval

Over several months of testing, the solution from Dubber achieved and often exceeded the demands of the Microsoft certification process. Dubber’s Unified Call Recording solution checked every box for video, voice, and screensharing functionality. Dubber will be included in the AppSource Marketplace for compliance going forward.

Achieving the certification for compliance from Microsoft Teams is a fantastic step for both Dubber, and its partners, according to the EVP of Global Platforms and Partnerships, Adrian Di Pietrantonio. Now that Dubber has successfully passed the testing process, its partners and customers can be confident in the knowledge that the Dubber platform is equipped to meet their requirements for compliant, and secure call recording within Teams.

The compliance certification within Teams is particularly important to customers that Dubber has in the government, banking, insurance, and financial services space, who are frequently under legal mandates to record and store call information. Dubber will allow users to eliminate costly on-premises solutions that require ongoing maintenance and time commitments. Instead, companies can use a comfortable Teams environment for work-from-home collaboration, communication, and contact centre functionality.

The Expanding Microsoft Ecosystem

According to Director of Microsoft 365 Ecosystem, Mike Ammerlaan, the partners of Microsoft are an essential part of the process for meeting customer communication and collaboration needs in Teams. Microsoft says that it is thrilled to have Dubber successfully complete the compliance recording certification process for Teams.

This certification will help Dubber customers, particularly those with complex security and compliance requirements, to remain compliant when placing calls with Microsoft Teams.
