Creator of countless popular products worldwide, PepsiCo, recently announced a new agreement with Microsoft, the technology innovator. Microsoft and PepsiCo are entering a new five-year collaboration.

This partnership will establish Microsoft as the preferred cloud partner for PepsiCo. The PepsiCo brand will use Microsoft to accelerate it’s infrastructure, data estate consolidation, and ERP technology. Per the details of the agreement, PepsiCo will be rolling Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 technology out to all 270,000 employees worldwide.

Microsoft Azure will also provide PepsiCo with a higher level of agility to leverage better insights from it’s growing data estate. This will allow for better product innovations, sustainability, and customer intimacy.

According to the Global CIO of PepsiCo, Seth Cohen, as a global leader in food and beverages, PepsiCo is committed to ensuring the timely delivery of its products.

Through a partnership with technology leader, Microsoft, PepsiCo can meet with the rising demands for essential goods, while also investing in new innovations. This will create a stronger environment and build a more resilient future for the brand.

The Microsoft CVP for Enterprise Commercial Business, Deb Cupp, said that the partnership between Microsoft and PepsiCo applies powerful new tools to the ever-changing retail and supply chain landscape. With Azure, AI, and other Microsoft tools, Microsoft can help PepsiCo to grow to the next level. Migrating the company’s global SAP and data estate landscapes to Azure helps them to make their supply chain more efficient.

Microsoft is also thrilled to be providing Microsoft 365 functionality for PepsiCo employees around the globe as part of this new partnership. The mobile collaboration and communication tools for PepsiCo’s workforce will be critical to delivering more value to the PepsiCo team.

This new collaboration will fuel the operational goals of PepsiCo and create more scope for the company’s aggressive innovation plans with agile cloud capabilities. At the same time, the partnership allows Microsoft to expand its relationship with a provider of leading consumer goods.
