SMART Technologies has launched three new interactive displays and added certifications for Crestron and Logitech.

These include the SMART Board RX series interactive display, the SMART Board MX series interactive display, and the SMART Board GX series interactive display.

The inventor of the SMART Board will showcase at ISE 2024 from January 30th to February 2nd 2024.

Nicholas Svensson, CEO of SMART Technologies, said: “I am proud to introduce our latest generation of displays that truly push the boundaries of interactive technology.

“Our commitment to product longevity, upgradability, sustainability, and user-friendly design sets us apart in the market.

“We believe in providing unparalleled value to our customers, not just through our cutting-edge products, but also through the dedicated support we provide.

“Our team is committed to ensuring our customers are up and running efficiently, and we continually strive to ensure they stay that way. There is simply nothing else on the market that offers what we do at SMART.”

Interactive Displays Features

The new RX Series is a performance display, helping to save teachers’ time and improve interactivity and accessibility, according to SMART Technologies.

This series has SMART’s patented Tool Explorer, which lets students seamlessly combine physical and digital education via programmable stamp tools, offering learners all the capabilities they need to effectively take part and express themselves with.

Further features of the RX Series include an iQ 4 embedded experience, Android 13, optically bonded glass, a multi-colour stylus, Google EDLA certification, NFC and QR-based sign-in options, and simultaneous tool differentiation. It also has the latest connectivity, security, storage, and audiovisual features.

The MX series (V5) has been designed to enhance student engagement. The 4K interface is paired with 40-point touch capabilities to offer a highly responsive interaction.

Further upgrades to the MX series include the iQ 4 embedded experience, NFC and QR-based sign-in options, Google Mobile Services (GMS), Android 13 security and support, an Octa-core processor, 8GB RAM, 64 GB memory, WiFi 6e and Bluetooth 5.2.

The updated GX Series is marketed as the “sustainable and affordable option” for all classroom interactivity needs.

The tools and SMART Ink desktop software enable quality presentations and interactive learning experiences. Its workflows and interactive capabilities can be easily understood by teachers, and businesses can reportedly save time and money on troubleshooting.

Improvements to the updated GX Series are specific classroom and office environments, cost and environmental savings, intuitive annotation, up to 40 points of touch, 8GB RAM, and Android 11 security.

The SMART BOARD RX and GX (V3) are available to purchase now, with the MX V5 due to be launched later in the year.

SMART board displays with iQ for workplace environments are certified for Crestron Connected 2nd generation and can be used in tandem with the Crestron XiO Cloud Service. The out the box integration removes the need for extra software, saving time and money.

SMART displays with iQ can also integrate with certified Microsoft Teams Room solutions through Logitech. Users simply need to connect a certified Teams device to the display and they will quickly be able to get setup.
