Zoho has announced several significant enhancements to its collaboration portfolio to bolster flexible working.
Following a 78 percent surge in migrations from leading competitors to Zoho’s suite of collaboration tools, Zoho says it’s spearheading the integration of new AI enhancements, workflow automation, and sector-specific features into its core collaborative applications.
These advancements facilitate a cohesive project management experience and bolster productive asynchronous collaboration for international companies with stakeholders operating across various time zones.
“Companies today are working on multiple devices and networks, in and out of the office, in varying time zones, making collaboration extremely difficult and time-consuming to manage,” said Raju Vegesna, Zoho’s Chief Evangelist.

Zoho is enhancing its collaboration suite with new features for four critical applications—Zoho Projects, Zoho Notebook, Zoho WorkDrive, and Zoho Sign.
Zohp stresses that these enhancements are pivotal in delivering superior results for enterprises by focusing on three essential pillars of seamless collaboration and productivity: AI, automation, and industry-specific customisation. These developments are tailored to meet businesses’ unique needs, ensuring a more integrated and efficient collaborative environment.

Zoho Projects, Zoho’s robust project management tool, has recently integrated Natural Language Processing (NLP) features powered by Zia, Zoho’s proprietary AI assistant. Users can now utilise simple voice commands to leverage Zoho’s search engine, which spans Zoho’s suite of applications. This allows for quick retrieval of contextual information and significantly reduces the time spent on data extraction.
Within Zoho Projects, Zia employs Zia Insights to condense custom charts and analytics dashboards. It offers task suggestions derived from extensive data set analyses, enhancing transparency for stakeholders in asynchronous teams.
Zoho Notebook, the company’s note-taking app, has significantly expanded its AI capabilities in the latest update. The platform now deeply integrates Zia, Zoho’s AI, to offer advanced features such as intelligent summarization, efficient task management, automatic topic tagging, data analysis from notes, and creating visual charts and calendars for upcoming actions.
Zoho Notebook can now interpret messages, adjust their tone, and add context, making the information readily actionable. Seamlessly linked with Zoho Projects and WorkDrive, users can take contextual notes, share, and collaborate easily. A novel addition, the Whiteboard feature, allows for dynamic brainstorming sessions, with the option to embed audio or video meetings directly within the app for real-time collaboration.
Blueprint, Zoho’s visual workflow automation tool, is now seamlessly integrated within Zoho Projects, WorkDrive, and Sign. This integration allows users to construct scalable and repeatable workflows with ease, providing a visual guide for each step of the process.
Blueprint offers the necessary resources and context for reviewing a shared document or analysing specific data, ensuring precision in process creation. This enhances productivity and streamlines the onboarding process for new employees who are learning the workflows.
Zoho WorkDrive, the company’s comprehensive file management system, has been upgraded to include workflow automation, enabling users to design, manage, and automate document-related processes across various departments and teams, thereby minimising the likelihood of human errors.
Zoho Sign, the company’s digital signature and document verification platform, is fully integrated into workflows at any stage, ensuring that businesses never experience delays due to signature acquisition.
The software has been updated to include features such as creating reusable templates for sales orders, HR documents, legal documents, and more, which can be automatically directed to the relevant team members. For financial technology firms, Zoho Sign introduces Knowledge-Based Authentication, and for the healthcare and life sciences sectors, it includes controls compliant with US FDA 21 CFR Part 11.
It streamlines critical operations such as legal policy or contract reviews and approvals, simplifies data gathering for efficient onboarding, ensures consistent HR practices, and enhances transparency in task management.
