Logitech has launched a new hot desking solution and video bar, Logi Dock Flex and Rally Bar Huddle.
Logi Dock Flex is a hardware and software providing employees with a personalised hot desking experience and companies with management benefits.
Rally Bar Huddle adds to Logitech’s Rally product line, with an all-in-one video bar for huddles and small rooms, to deliver equitable meetings and collaborative experiences.
Logi Dock Flex
The Logi Dock Flex helps companies to meet the challenge, outlined by Logitech, of motivating employees to work in the office and gaining data and insights to get an informed view of space configuration and their investments.
A McKinsey Social Capital survey revealed that employees feel less connected to their colleagues.
Earlier this year, Logitech launched the ‘New Logic of Work’ commitment to empowering companies through the expanded possibilities of hybrid work.
Logitech’s desk booking service, which runs on Logi Dock Flex, can help to remedy this with capabilities allowing workers to plan days at work with their team, book desks using Logi Tune, and notify their team members.
Speaking about Logi Dock Flex, Scott Wharton, General Manager of Logitech B2B, said:
“Businesses know they have to earn the commute to get hybrid work employees into the office.
“The answer is not to add more foosball tables, but to instead offer a way for employees to plan their in-office days together.
“We took a multidimensional approach to building Logi Dock Flex that not only solves desk booking and management issues, but promotes social collaboration and gives IT and workplace managers data on how the tech and space are being used.”
The Logi Dock Flex has an eight-inch display, six USB ports, dual display, network connection, and 100 watts of power.
It can be quickly deployed and at scale by IT teams with cable management to keep desk spaces tidy.
Logitech Sync allows IT teams to manage booking settings and equipment, as well as customisation options to make it fit into the company’s hybrid policies.
IT teams can also Microsoft Teams, Zoom Workspace Reservation, or Logitech’s booking service, with further booking platforms on their way.
Workplace management data, such as peak occupancy times, and user behaviours allow facilities managers to track return-to-office performance.
Logi Dock Flex will be globally available in autumn, 2023, with a recommended retail prices of $699.
Rally Bar Huddle
According to Logitech, the Rally Bar Huddle is quick and easy to set up and manage, plus it is simple to integrate the solution with Tap IP via CollabOS.
The company also believes that huddle rooms have become more popular, as organisations redesign their office spaces to include more collaboration areas.
Commenting on the release of the Rally Bar Huddle, Wharton said: “Huddle rooms are popping up faster than companies can video-enable them.
“We designed Rally Bar Huddle from the ground up to have the optimal AI functionality for modern equitable meetings while coming in at a price point that is affordable for every single huddle room out there.”
Research by Futuresource found that 68 percent of companies are planning to invest in AV technology for huddle spaces and small meeting rooms
Rally Bar Huddle has been designed to accommodate rooms of up to six people. Within this limit, all participants can be clearly seen and heard.
The video bar includes AI video intelligence, 4K image quality, and an audio system that makes it twice as loud as Logitech MeetUp.
Six beamforming mics and AI-based noise suppression help to make meetings feel more natural.
Software improvements have also led to advanced features such as RightSight 2.
RightSight 2 provides AI features, including speaker view, grid view, and integrations with Microsoft IntelliFrame, Zoom Rooms Smart Gallery, and more.
RightSight 2 will be available in autumn, 2023, and the Rally Bar Huddle will be globally available in July 2023, with a recommended retail price of $1699.
