By integrating the Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform into its upcoming ClickShare offerings, Barco says it’s set to harness an Android-based framework that empowers device manufacturers and software developers to create cutting-edge solutions. This collaboration, supported by Microsoft’s renowned security, trust, and management, will enable ClickShare to continue enhancing its trademark ease-of-use and exceptional user experience in partnership with its customers and partners.

Jan van Houtte, EVP Meeting Experience at Barco, said:

ClickShare remains focused on bringing a simple, premium experience to meeting spaces. We will continue to create innovative experiences while leveraging Microsoft’s expertise in security, manageability, and AI capabilities. We are pleased to accelerate our defined partnership with Microsoft, expanding beyond ClickShare’s integration with Shared Spaces.”

For over a decade, Barco affirms it’s been at the forefront of the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) market. With a deployment of over 270,000 ClickShare Conference units, a robust partner network, and a substantial presence within Fortune 1000 companies, Barco says ClickShare is a trailblazer in user-centric collaborative technology.

“Microsoft and Barco share a common emphasis on designing solutions with enhanced privacy, accessibility, and manageability excellence,” added Juha Kuosmanen, Head of MDEP at Microsoft. “We are proud to welcome Barco, a leading player in the BYOD rooms, to the Microsoft Development Ecosystem Platform community. We are confident their future developments will be a catalyst for their continuous success.”
