Poly has received Teams certifications for three Savi headsets and the Poly Edge E Series.

Microsoft has also partnered with Poly to launch a bulk sign-in feature via Poly Lens, the Teams SIP phone deployment solution.

Desk phones and wireless headsets are increasing in demand, according to Poly, as employees are spending more time in the office.

Supporting this notion, Microsoft’s Work Trend Index found that 73 percent of employees need greater motivation to go into the office than simply company expectations.

In a blog post by Poly introducing the news, it said: “At Poly, we are building a better blueprint for work by designing tools that provide a more seamless, integrated experience for Microsoft Teams users.

“Poly continues to expand its broad portfolio of voice and video products certified for Microsoft Teams as part of its ongoing commitment to deliver pro-grade tools that will enable a hybrid workforce and provide a better collaboration experience.”

Poly Savi Headsets

The three newly released and Teams-certified Poly Savi headsets are the 8400 and 7400 Office Series, and the 7300 UC Series.

The headsets, which have been designed to enhance communication experiences, can be paired with the new Savi office base to achieve a range of nearly 600 feet from the base to the headset.

The wireless DECT headset, Savi 8400 Office Series, can remove unwanted background noises and conversations, with a comfortable design, and an intuitive interface on the Savi Office base, which easily connects to a PC, mobile, or desk phone.

The Savi 7400 Office Series was designed for modern offices and shared spaces. The wireless DECT headset has security features, high-quality audio, and Acoustic Fence Technology. It also comes with the Savi Office base, enabling connections to various devices.

The Savi 7300 UC Series has been purpose-built for employees that value security and privacy. The wireless DECT headset includes DECT Security Step C, 256-bit AES encryption, and Poly Acoustic Fence technology.

By receiving Teams certifications, all three headsets can provide users with a seamlessly integrated experience using Microsoft Teams. The Savi Office Base also includes a dedicated Microsoft Teams button to initiate conversations via the Teams app.

Poly Edge E Series

The Poly Edge E Series phone is the newest Poly phone solution that has been enabled for Microsoft Teams SIP gateway.

The Edge E phone series was designed for hot-desking and home office, providing users with multiple connection options, including pairing for mobile and Bluetooth headsets.

The series also features noise reduction technology, Microban antimicrobial protection, and a design that caters to a diverse workforce.

Poly Lens

The Poly Lens streamlines Teams SIP phone deployment and offers policy-based settings, fast updates, and a simplified user experience.

Microsoft and Poly’s partnership to add a bulk sign-in feature improves SIP phone systems with cloud calling and collaboration capabilities.

This migration feature is now available in preview on certain Poly VVX Series desktop phones, the Edge E Series, and Trio Series conference phones.

Bulk sign-in can provision up to 100 desktop and conference room phones at the same time, saving time and money, and enhancing end-user experiences.

Poly has also announced new audio and video solutions certified for Microsoft Teams recently as well, including the Poly Studio X52 and the Poly Voyager Surround 80 UC.
