Shure has announced a new audio conferencing kit, the MXA902 Integrated Ceiling Array Mic and Loudspeaker, to elevate the meeting room experience.

Complemented by Shure’s ANIUSB-MATRIX Interface Audio Network Interface for simple setup and seamless connectivity to popular conferencing platforms, the MXA902 is pitched as a single, ready-to-deploy package that still delivers a premium audio experience. The kit is certified for Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms and is compatible with Google Meet.

Sean Bowman, Associate VP of Sales, North America, at Shure, commented:

With rising demand for better collaboration experiences in modern workplaces, IT managers require superior audio solutions to enrich communication while maintaining simplicity in installation and operation. The new Audio Conferencing Kit streamlines deployment and management, easily providing the flagship audio quality Shure is known for. This kit includes all the essentials for IT managers and end users, shipped pre-routed in a single, convenient box for easy setup.”

The MXA902 + ANIUSB-MATRIX Audio Conferencing Kit is now available through Shure’s global network of channel partners.

More Information On The New Solution’s Features

Shure outlines its new audio conferencing kit as a comprehensive, single-vendor, networked solution tailored for small to medium-sized rooms that require the flexibility and consistent acoustic performance of a ceiling-mounted microphone. Shure adds that it can also be paired with all-in-one systems to extend audio coverage in larger or more complex spaces.

The kit features the MXA902 Ceiling Array Mic and Loudspeaker, which the company says delivers excellent audio quality by combining crystal-clear voice capture and far-end speech reproduction in a single device. Shure suggests the MXA902’s onboard IntelliMix digital signal processing (DSP) ensures superior AV conferencing audio, removing noise and echo without the need for additional external DSP hardware.

Additionally, Shure says the ANIUSB-MATRIX Interface provides seamless networked or USB connectivity to room PCs or BYODs, straightforwardly supporting the selected conferencing platform.

Shure explains that the kit ships with both devices in a single box, pre-routed for quick deployment in rooms up to 20″ x 20″. This streamlined setup process intends to minimise compatibility issues and ensures reliable performance with every use.

For larger spaces, Shure affirms that the kit allows IT partners to scale simply by adding certified Shure Microflex Ecosystem devices or connecting it to existing, compatible in-room solutions. Shure assures that the product’s simplicity means integrators do not require technical certification to sell or install it, highlighting this as making it an accessible and efficient solution for a variety of deployment scenarios.

What Else Has Shure Been Up To Recently?

In September, Shure unveiled ShureCloud, its centralised device management solution for networked Shure audio devices.

Shure highlights that ShureCloud features intuitive workflows familiar to IT admins and AV integrators, simplifying the user experience. The platform provides real-time remote management access, enabling users to manage, monitor, update, and control devices and licenses from anywhere, aiming to ensure greater flexibility and convenience.

ShureCloud is designed to offer unified control and remote access for organisations of all sizes. Whether managing a few devices for a small business or overseeing large-scale deployments for global enterprises, government institutions, or higher education, Shure stresses that the platform aims to streamline device management and enhance operational efficiency.

In April, Neat partnered with Shure to enhance audio-visual user experiences by enabling the seamless integration between the Neat Bar Pro and various Shure Microflex Ecosystem solutions.

By integrating the video technology of the Neat Bar Pro with the advanced audio features of Shure’s Microflex Ecosystem, Neat aims to deliver an “optimum combination” of visual and audio performance. This collaboration is engineered to provide an engaging and inclusive meeting experience, adaptable to any meeting space, no matter how complex. The integration ensures that all participants can actively engage in the conversation, fostering better communication and collaboration.
