Founded in 2019, Teamble is an employee engagement and team feedback platform for remote work. The company is based out of New York, US, and the platform was officially launched last year. Teamble has already added over 650 customers in the beta stage and is currently available on Slack or Teams.
Teamble uses a conversational interface to streamline team communication. You can share development goals, request or provide 360-degree feedback, or make notes using the Teamble virtual assistant. The platform features powerful analytics to help you understand team dynamics better, even in a remote working environment. For example, you can map team members’ personalities on the introverted-extroverted range and assess their work-life balance priorities.

Teamble also has a coaching module, where the virtual assistant delivers nudges and bite-sized learning materials to improve your team management style. It has a host of valuable capabilities for managers – managers can conduct one on ones, collect insights using pulse surveys, and provide continuous feedback to team members. Teamble is available as a free app for Slack and Teams. There is a custom-priced enterprise version that allows you to customise the coaching scripts, engagement surveys, growth areas, and other facets of the employee experience.
The Teamble app for Teams is currently in version 1.0. Let us review it in more detail.
Inside Teamble for Teams
You can download the Teamble app for Teams from Microsoft AppSource or the application store in your Microsoft Teams window. The integration is free, so you will not need a paid subscription to start. You can also visit Teamble’s pricing page to add the integration to your Teams interface directly.
Here are the key features to expect with Teamble for Teams:
- 360-degree feedback templates – Teamble makes it easier to provide 360-degree or multi-rater feedback via Microsoft Teams. There is a ready-to-use template where you can choose your relationship with the feedback recipient, mention the company value you recognise, select areas of strength, and add a personalised message. You can also connect the feedback with Teamble’s pre-built coaching scripts to provide the recipient with actionable suggestions.
- A feedback coach – The coaching library is among the key features of Teamble. It makes short micro-lessons available to Teams users and feedback recipients in line with the conversation. The coach will ask you to specify a behaviour they have observed in the workplace – e.g., overly verbose communication. It will then retrieve coaching tips to improve this behaviour and improve performance.
- Continuous feedback engine – Employees can receive constant feedback from their teammates. Teamble’s continuous feedback engine will ask you to specify the names of your co-workers from whom you want feedback and your development goals. Your teammates will be nudged every week, once in two weeks, or every month to provide you with feedback.
- Personality trait mapping – Using Teamble, you can map your team’s personality traits to align your leadership style effectively. Based on the team’s personality makeup, Teamble shares valuable suggestions for performance management. For example, if there are few extroverted personalities in a primarily introverted team, leaders will be nudged to ensure that all voices are heard in the room. Personality trait analysis can also be applied to individual employees – useful for managers evaluating them.
- Weekly pulse checks – You can use the Teamble app to conduct weekly team pulse surveys. The app asks a simple question – how are you feeling? – and employees can answer with an emoji. Surveys can also ask for open-ended statements to enable two-way feedback.
- Performance reviews – Teamble streamlines various review models, including one-on-ones, 360-degree reviews, and self-reviews. All the data is collected and consolidated into a report that highlights your strengths, development areas, performance trends, and the most common areas of feedback.
Why the Teamble App Makes a Difference
Teamble’s USP is that it is a truly comprehensive solution for team engagement and productivity in a remote working world. Instead of only surfacing performance KPIs or key results, it places the insights in the context of an employee’s personality, well-being, and feedback by their 360-degree peer network.
What We Think
Companies looking for an affordable solution to drive a culture of continuous listening and 360-degree performance management should try Teamble. It may be new in the HR tech space, but its bevvy features and conversational interface make it a good fit for modern organisations.
