Gtmhub is an OKR management software launched in 2015. Objectives and key results (OKR) is an outcome-oriented project management methodology that allows you to align strategy with execution perfectly. It breaks down the task at hand into achievable goals with sub-tasks and processes, which are assigned to designated owners with deadlines. Gtmhub is a popular OKR management software that you can connect with 160+ enterprise apps for use across different workflows.
Recently, Gtmhub has seen rapid growth, propelled by the switch to remote work and the consequent demand for remote project management tools. In December 2020, the company bolstered its leadership team with a new chief marketing officer and a new chief revenue officer. Gtmhub caters to 800+ companies worldwide, including the likes of CNN, Adobe, DocuSign, and RedHat.

As mentioned, Gtmhub has a vast library of integrations, including collaboration products like Microsoft Teams. You can use the Gtmhub Teams app to get project updates inside your conversational workflows, track task completion, and create new tasks directly inside Teams. Let us review the app in more detail.
Inside Gtmhub for Teams
Before you can start using the Gtmhub integration for Teams, you’ll need to sign up for a trial or paid subscription. Pricing starts at $1 per user per month for the basic plan. Next, head to Microsoft AppSource and download Gtmhub. You can also install the integration from the application store inside Teams, either as a personal app or a pinned tab on a channel.
Once the integration is installed, you will be prompted to log in with your Gtmhub account credentials so you fetch data associated with the account.
Here are the key features that it enables:
- View ongoing tasks – You will be able to view all the ongoing tasks linked with your Gtmhub account, along with their due date and task details. There are icons to show exactly which types of tasks are contained in an ongoing process, such as to-do lists, OKRs, etc. OKRs are further segmented into personal OKRs, company OKRs, department-specific OKRs, etc., depending on the various projects associated with your Gtmhub account.
- Progress tracking – One of the most significant advantages of the Gtmhub Teams app is that it allows you to view tasks progress at a glance. For every OKR, there is a dynamically updated progress bar that shows the precise percentage completed so far. You can also view your progress for the tasks assigned to you, as well as the entire team’s progress and organisation-wide completion percentage.
- New tasks or objective creation – This is a bidirectional integration, which means you can not only view Gtmhub data passively, but you can also create new data that will be associated with your Gtmhub account. Right on top of the app (next to your display picture), you’ll find the +Add button. Click on this button to create a new task or objective directly from Teams.
- Universal search – Once you have installed the Gtmhub Teams app, you will be able to look up tasks and objectives associated with your account from anywhere in Teams. This capability is enabled by the universal search feature, accessible from the search bar on top of the Teams window. In the search bar, type in @Gtmhub followed by the OKR name. It will display recently accessed OKR information by default. Once you select an OKR, you can copy the full set of information (name, objective, key results, and progress details) to share via chat.
- The Gtmhub messaging extension – A similar search functionality is available via the Gtmhub icon, just below the message compose area. Clicking on this icon opens the Gtmhub search window, where you can type in your OKR name. Importantly, when an OKR is shared using the app, it appears as an adaptive card that you can update directly from Microsoft Teams.
Why the Gtmhub App Makes a Difference
OKRs present a slightly more complex way to manage projects, but Gtmhub enables a refreshingly simple take. It presents key objective and result details in a conversational format, and you can monitor an end-to-end process without having to leave Microsoft Teams.
What We Think
Gtmhub is among the most affordable OKR-based project management apps out there, with plans priced at $1, $5, $12 per user per month – ideal for Teams users at organisations of every scale.
