What has been your business/work highlight or achievement of 2024?

Helping organizations increase their productivity via UCaaS. Seeing a reduction in complexity in environments that enables the organization to focus on what they do vs keeping the lights on.

Who do you think has had the most positive impact on the UC space in 2024 and why? 

I think all of the community-based events have had the most positive impact on the UC Space in 2024. They are filling gaps left by the manufacturers and creating places that invite everyone.

What was your biggest business surprise in 2024?

The consolidation at the end of the year of the larger VAR’s (i.e. Crayon/SoftwareOne, WWT/SoftChoice, CDW/Mission).

What was the most useful business book/podcast you’ve read/listened to in 2024?

Book: The Hard Thing about Hard Things Podcasts: All-In, The Working Genius, All That Salesy Stuff.

What’s the biggest challenge you and your team will face in 2025?

Continuing to pivot in the ever-changing world of AI.

What technology will have the greatest impact on your business in 2025 and why?

AI Agents. I believe we will see these have a major impact on communications in 2025. AI Agents have the potential to remove requirements for Contact Center for a lot of organizations as well as transform the way the Contact Center looks going forward.
