What has been your business/work highlight of 2024 so far?

Being lucky enough to be invited to ZohoDay24 as it was a very unique experience.

Who is your business hero and why?

Matthew Benham – he made money in the gambling industry and then used that money to help fund his football team write off their debts. Then used his knowledge to help the club become one of the best-run teams in the country.

What’s the biggest business mistake you’ve made and what did you learn from it?

Stressing myself out that I needed to learn every single aspect of all companies involved in the market and thinking i was a lot worse than everyone else because I didn’t have that knowledge. Learning that nobody has a full picture and focusing on what is important helped me become a better analyst.

What’s the most inspirational book you’ve ever read and why?

Neuromancer as it gives a good look into the potential benefits and dangers of advanced technology and how humans will handle it.

What’s the biggest challenge you face in your role in 2024?

Expanding my coverage area to a wider range of companies within the ecosystem will require a lot of additional work but will also be extremely rewarding.

What technology will have the greatest impact on your business this year and why?

There is no getting away from AI being prevalent in every aspect of UC&C and contact centre.
