What has been your business/work highlight of 2024 so far?

Who is your business hero and why?

My first manager who never told me a role was too much, at 21 I ended up running 3 retail outlets, was in charge of marketing for the group and managed 40 people because no one said I couldn’t.

What’s the biggest business mistake you’ve made and what did you learn from it?

Diversification into too many areas which stretched the business too much.
I learnt to grow but also protect the core.

What’s the most inspirational book you’ve ever read and why?

Catch 22 – It’s the best life-learning book ever.

What’s the biggest challenge you face in your role in 2024?

Creating a new business with a true balance of quality, value, creativity, challenge and absolute fun.

What technology will have the greatest impact on your business this year and why?

Paper and pen.
Whilst my digital world is growing beyond recognition I am spending more time this year strategizing with an old-school price of paper and a bunch of colored pens.
