What has been your business/work highlight of 2024 so far?

For me, it has been about building my business profile to be able to share my learnings with the world. Notably, with the creation of my YouTube series in conjunction with my friends at Microsoft called Mo Monday’s. The response has been amazing, and being recognized in shows like ISE 2024 & Comverse has been a massive highlight for me.

Who is your business hero and why?

There are many people in business that have been heroes for me in a variety of ways. However, if I was to pick the ultimate one, it would be Elon Musk. I admire the fact he has a vision to change the world for the better in terms of sustainability and space travel. He has a ‘go do’ attitude and makes the impossible possible. With Elon in charge, we live in an exciting period of time, with so many new futuristic innovations coming to fruition!

What’s the biggest business mistake you’ve made and what did you learn from it?

My biggest mistake in my younger years was being to scared to ‘ask for more’ when it came down to career growth. I would wait for an opportunity to be presented to me instead of actually going out there and chasing what I wanted. Kids – if you want something bad, don’t be afraid to ask for it!

What’s the most inspirational book you’ve ever read and why?

Currently, it’s Elon Musk’s biography. So inspirational to see his journey from humble beginnings & a dream and how he chased to build one of the world’s largest most innovative companies in existence today.

What’s the biggest challenge you face in your role in 2024?

Time management and juggling different work streams at the same time!

What technology will have the greatest impact on your business this year and why?

Of course, its AI! Learning the limitations and possibilities has been a real eye-opener! It’s hard to let AI take over some jobs one has been used to spending hours on! (which probably is a good thing!).
