What has been your business/work highlight of 2024 so far?

Working with organizations to help them build business cases for Copilot pilot projects and rollout project. Also worked with 5 organisations on adoption Viva Goals, talking to senior leadership and helping them adapt their business strategies in to OKRs and measurable hierarchical goals in Viva Goals. I am delivering a keynote at Get-CsLatam on Digital Wellbeing in May.

Who is your business hero and why?

Simon Sinek, because he is incredibly good at talking about the why, which is the most important thing you need to identify in order to do what you do. His thinking is grounded in the way I run CloudWay and how I communicate with customers and build my presentations for conferences.

What’s the biggest business mistake you’ve made and what did you learn from it?

Gunning on. By delivering projects for customers without being incredibly clear on scope, in the end we went 50k USD over budget and customers did not want to pay because they thought they got it for free. I have learned that Statement of Work is everything and without it we have nothing. This is heavily incorporated in CloudWay.

What’s the most inspirational book you’ve ever read and why?

Start with Why by Simon Sinek, because of the above reason on the business hero.

What’s the biggest challenge you face in your role in 2024?

Less available work, fewer projects, the impact copilot which suddenly got launched had on customer’s thinking. We also struggle with customers unable to pay their bills.

What technology will have the greatest impact on your business this year and why?

Copilot, because it is the biggest change in the way we work since the industrial revolution and will change the creative process and if we succeed with it, we will become more happy and happy people are more productive and we get more done with copilot and we will have a positive feedback loop with technology. We are at a point of singularity!
