Communication is a vital part of the workplace environment as it is how colleagues collaborate to ensure critical tasks are carried out.

However, this can be a problem in some work environments where the ambient noise is loud such as construction sites, manufacturing facilities or warehouses.

Algo’s loud ringing devices ensure workers in noisy environments do not miss important phone calls, alerts or intercoms.

All of Algo’s devices are third-party SIP compliant, which means they can be registered with most leading UCaaS platforms.

Ryan Zoehner, Head of Operations at Algo, commented: “This is something that UCaaS providers and integrators may want to consider when deploying solutions with their customers in these loud ambient environments.

“It’s never going to be the first thing that somebody thinks about, but if it’s not considered, it will leave a problem and can be a frustration for your customer.

“Since Algo devices are all SIP devices and they register into these UCaaS platforms seamlessly, this is a very simple add-on that a UCaaS provider can bring to the solution.”

Algo provides loud ringing IP Speakers in different formats, such as wall mounts, ceiling mounts, or horns for indoor and outdoor environments.

An example is Algo’s 8180 SIP Audio Alerter which is typically eight times louder than a telephone speaker to ensure that crucial calls are not missed.

Should the work environment require audible and visual alerting when the phone rings, the IP speakers can be combined with an Algo strobe light to provide a visual alert.

Algo IP Visual Alerters can also be SIP registered for visual ring alerting in environments where audible alerting may not be suitable.

The company’s products are compatible with over 65 different vendors, including some of the largest organisations in the UC and collaboration industry, such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, RingCentral, and Cisco Webex.

This means Algo devices, such as loud ringers, can be seamlessly deployed within these platforms via SIP, making them simple to provision, configure and install.

Algo’s loud ringers can also be implemented without integrating them directly with a UCaaS platform utilizing Algo’s ring detection solution that works with leading Poly and Yealink phones.

The ring detector recognises a call to the headset jack of the IP hardware and directly activates an Algo loud ringer or visual alerter.

It means that organisations have multiple ways of setting up loud ringing for UCaaS platforms within noisy environments.
