ASC Technologies has released a Copilot integration for Recording Insights, which was created as part of the Microsoft 365 Technical Adoption Program (TAP).
According to the leading multi-channel recording, management, and analytics software provider ASC Technologies, this Copilot plugin is “among the first companies” to bring Copilot’s capabilities to recording and AI data analytics.
Now available, the plugin allows users to run recordings, amongst other features, using Copilot.
Gerald Kromer, CEO of ASC, commented on the release of the new Copilot plugin: “Participating in the Microsoft Copilot Private Preview Program has been a significant step for ASC.”
Our customers will benefit from the seamless integration of Copilot technology, enhancing their efficiency and productivity. We are proud to be at the forefront of technological innovation in collaboration with Microsoft, offering our customers top-tier solutions.”
Kromer continues: “Integrating Copilot with our Recording Insights platform allows us to offer an even more intuitive tool for our users. This highlights our commitment to continuously investing in advanced technologies to best meet our customers’ needs.”
Benefits of the New Copilot Plugin
In its related press release, ASC Technologies revealed three key advantages to implementing its Copilot plugin.
First, it improves efficiency by enabling users to access and analyse recordings more quickly and easily.
Second, the solution is user-friendly as it can be operated by nearly anyone, regardless of their IT proficiency.
Its built-in automation technology and fast commands increase productivity and save time, which users can then use to address other important tasks.
What are ASC Technologies’ Recording Insights?
ASC Technologies explains on the associated product page of its website that Recording Insights works by capturing all communications, whether it is for Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or RingCentral, to ensure that you are meeting compliance requirements.
The solution, hosted on Azure, integrates with your collaboration platform, allowing you to record and archive calls, meetings, screen sharing, chat, and video.
You can also utilise the Microsoft Cognitive Service to analyse, transcribe, and translate business communications.
Mike Ammerlaan, Director of Microsoft 365 Ecosystem Marketing at Microsoft, gave his review of ASC Technologies’ recording insights solution for Microsoft Teams:
With ASC Recording Insights, Microsoft Teams users can comply with complex regulatory requirements regarding recording and archiving ‘with just one click’ within Teams.”
Headquartered in Germany, ASC Technologies has subsidiaries in 14 countries and system integration partners working in more than 60 countries.
Describing itself as the “number one European-based player in its industry”, ASC Technologies typically sells its solutions to financial service providers, contact centres, public safety organisations, and other companies that record communications.
ASC Technologies is not the only one integrating Copilot into its solutions.
New Era Technology created a series of webinars explaining how and why Copilot should be used alongside offerings to get the most out of them, such as Microsoft 365, which is revolutionised by the addition of Copilot.
It explains that there are four phases to its AI strategic framework that companies should follow when introducing a new Copilot: Envision, Align, Launch, and Evolve.
One such company that has recently released a Microsoft 365-focused solution is Martello, which has produced an industry-first user experience management solution for enterprises.
