Acquisitive Babble has continued it relentless buy-and-build strategy with the acquisitions of Concert Networks and 5 Rings Telecom.
The purchases mark the fifth and sixth acquisitions so far this year by Babble, who vowed in January that they would make five acquisitions by July. The MSP has already purchased 81G Blue, Activ Technology, Ultracomms, and Sesui in 2021.
The addition of Concert and 5Rings expands the comms provider’s footprint across the UK, particularly in the North-West (Concert) and South Coast (5 Rings).
Winsford-based Concert specialises in contact centre, mobile voice and data, and business communications. Worthing-based 5 Rings specialises in deploying flexible telecommunications to SMEs.
Babble’s growth strategy has resulted in it now having over 25,000 UCaaS users, 24,000 mobile users, and 4,000 CCaaS users. It now boasts five hubs across the UK in London, the North-West, the Midlands, the North-East and the South Coast and has a headcount of 200.
“Our goal has always been to transform the way our customers work through the deployment of the right technology,” stated Matt Parker, Chief Executive of Babble.
“Throughout 2021 we have completed a number of strategic acquisitions aimed to expand, deepen and strengthen our offering, allowing us to serve even more customers across the whole of the UK and beyond.
“Seeking out the UK’s most exciting, innovative tech businesses, that utilise local talent to bring a local touch from local bases is highly valuable to us. We’re delighted that the exceptional teams from Concert and 5 Rings are joining us on our journey to becoming the UK’s leading cloud technology business.”
