Flotek has acquired Gower Business Systems to help boost its offering to customers in South Wales and beyond.
The takeover is part of Flotekβs plan for growth through acquisition and is in line with the companyβs vision of supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
The company also said it had chosenΒ strategic partnerships with Microsoft to help its SME business clients migrate to cloud technologies.

According to Flotek, the acquisition of the Swansea-based IT provider adds Β£1.2m in revenue to Flotekβs turnover.
Flotek says that its core aim is helping regional businesses access and embrace cloud technology to allow them to boost their operations and serving offerings.
The company currently has a base in Cardiff and, following the acquisition, a second base in Swansea to allow the organisation to extend its coverage further with engineers closer to customers.
Gower Business Systems specialises in providing technology for the legal and professional services sector, with the company founders Mark Wyatt and Mark Bowling set to continue in roles at Flotek.
