XConnect’s global numbering intelligence will improve Gamma’s business messaging services

Gamma Communications is implementing XConnect’s global numbering intelligence solution to increase the efficiency of its business messaging.

By incorporating XConnect’s number portability and number range services, Gamma’s messaging traffic will be sent to cloud mobile numbers more efficiently.

XConnect believes it will improve the efficacy of Gamma’s cloud mobile messaging system, as well as its user experience. Two-factor authentication (2FA) via SMS will also work better, increasing security without compromising user experience.

Because of Gamma’s unique cloud mobile numbering solution, not everyone recognises how to route messaging traffic correctly to them. XConnect is part of Somos, Inc., which purports to be the administrator of over 3 billion numbers to build seamless communications between enterprises and consumers.

Describing itself as a trusted global registry of network and subscriber information, XConnect aims to optimise global communication services. Its services include voice and messaging routing, fraud protection and next-generation communications.

Gamma is an AIM-listed Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) supplier, operating in the UK, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. The company suffered a pandemic related blip in its H1 results last year.
