Scaling UCaaS with a Multi-Platform Approach 

At the heart of the partnership is a six-year agreement for Gamma to supply O2 Daisy with thousands of additional UCaaS seats across key platforms, including Horizon, Webex for Gamma and PhoneLine+. Gamma has also assumed responsibility for Cisco BroadWorks enablement, which underpins O2 Daisy’s own UCaaS platform. 

This extends beyond a supply arrangement and embodies a deep alignment on strategy: a multi-platform model that gives large enterprises and SMEs alike the flexibility to adopt UC in a way that matches their specific needs, rather than being funnelled into a one-size-fits-all system. 

“Running your own communications platform is increasingly complex,” explained Andrew Belshaw, CEO of Gamma. “From rising compliance pressures to the cost and pace of innovation, it simply doesn’t make commercial sense for many providers.” 

“That’s where Gamma comes in. Our relationship with O2 Daisy is built on years of trust, shared success and doing what’s right. This agreement reflects all of that. By combining their customer focus with our platform scale and expertise, we’re creating the right environment for sustainable growth.” 

The decision to entrust Gamma with BroadWorks enablement is particularly significant. It places Gamma at the centre of O2 Daisy’s UCaaS infrastructure, reinforcing the interoperability and resilience that organisations now demand. 

For IT leaders, this means Gamma’s economies of scale handle the underlying complexity, allowing partners and customers to focus squarely on delivery, experience, and growth. 

Streamlining SME Transitions and Partner Alignment 

Another pillar of the agreement is a seven-year wholesale revenue arrangement that will see SME customers from Gamma’s direct base transitioned to O2 Daisy. Gamma will continue to support these customers for up to 12 months to ensure a smooth handover, but the long-term strategic intent is clear that SMEs will be best served through O2 Daisy’s tailored systems and dedicated resources, while Gamma concentrates on large enterprise and digital-first sales channels. 

This is pertinent for partners, too. It illustrates a clear alignment of responsibilities between two major players, avoiding duplication and ensuring that organisations receive the right level of attention. 

The deal offers continuity for SMEs navigating merger-driven changes in the telecoms landscape, a time when stability is in short supply. For the channel, it reinforces Gamma’s conviction that partners remain the most effective route to market for SMEs, while O2 Daisy gains new capacity and scope to scale UC adoption quickly. 

Leveraging Cisco Collaboration at Scale 

Gamma’s expanded role is also closely tied to its long-standing relationship with Cisco. By underpinning O2 Daisy’s UCaaS platform with BroadWorks and providing Webex for Gamma seats, Gamma ensures that Cisco’s collaboration technologies are delivered at large enterprise scale. 

For those businesses already wrestling with fragmented platforms and the burden of vendor sprawl, this alignment between Gamma, O2 Daisy and Cisco cultivates a route to simplification. It marries the agility of multi-platform UC with the reassurance of robust underlying enablement.
