Non-profit organisation committed to strengthening the growth of the Unified Communication industry, IMCCA, recently announced the arrival of its latest webcast. The new webcast comes as part of a slew of information released by IMCAA for its “Pandemic Support page”. The Pandemic Support solution has been offering business leaders and those in the communication industry a chance to learn from thought leaders around the globe.

The latest Webcast, entitled “UC and the Pandemic – 45 Days At Home” is a discussion lasting just under an hour, with a wide selection of expert analysts from the industry. As IMCCA themselves put it,

“About forty-five days ago, the COVID-19 pandemic forced most of the world to switch to working from home”

“As it started we chatted with analysts about what we should expect, and now, a month and a half later, we chat about what has actually happened – so far.”

On the webcast are IMCCA’s, Poly’s David Danto, hosting CommFusion’s Blair Pleasant, Frost & Sullivan’s Roopam Jain, Let’s Do Video’s David Maldow and Omdia’s Tim Banting.

Providing Insights in a Difficult Time

During these challenging times, IMCCA believes that we have a unique opportunity to show that things like distance learning, remote working, and collaboration tools are paving the way towards a new features. These solutions are allowing us to unlock new forms of productivity and creativity in a world where we’ve been forced to reject traditional strategies.

IMCCA notes that too many people are constantly focusing on the issues in the collaboration and video conferencing space, with stories about things like Zoombombing. This means that we’re not getting enough focus on the amazing benefits that this incredible technology can bring.

IMCCA wants to see this problem turned around, so that more people can see the positive impact that collaboration tools, video, and other online services are having on the world today. In the latest webcast session, the group will cover some truly inspiring stories about how businesses across the globe are rediscovering their values in a new way, through the virtual world.

Making the Most of Our Situation

IMCCA notes that although there are challenges in the current digital landscape, we shouldn’t be focusing exclusively on the things that are going wrong, when so many things are going right. With their webcasts and informational posts, IMCCA hopes to drown out the fear-mongering stories about collaboration and communication on the web and inspire people to accomplish more online.

Almost every major industry player has a positive story to share about how they have adjusted and adapted to this new environment. The resiliency of the human race and our ability to keep the world turning with the help of new technology should be the focus now, according to IMCCA.

You can check out the new webcast for free on the IMCCA website.
