Kurmi Software has launched Kurmi as a Service (KaaS), an alternative to its on-premises provisioning solution.
Kurmi believes there is a lot of potential value for its users and client base by choosing a hosted model. KaaS is Kurmi’s answer to the rise in demand for UC automation which has come from an increase in remote and hybrid working.
Pascal Moindrot, Chief Operating Officer, Kurmi Software, said: “Enterprises are always looking at ways to cut costs and the number of man-hours supporting their UC solutions.”
“This is why we have developed Kurmi as a Service, to extend the delivery model options for our UC automation services beyond on-premise into the cloud. KaaS enables users to benefit from all the existing Kurmi Software features, but with the added flexibility of total cloud management, instantaneous updates, and a predictable upfront monthly cost.”
Kurmi have pointed to some benefits which come with KaaS. Template creation by site or function will be available. Companies will also be able to set repeatable processes, which Kurmi believe could reduce onboarding by up to 80%. Provisioning UC will become a one-click process.
Some businesses waste up to half a million a year on MACDs. KaaS will automate moves, adds, changes, and deletes (MACDs), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and other workflows and processes. With scheduling and rollback, employees with only basic technical skills will be able to assign tasks.
KaaS comes with security software, data encryption, and cloud-based systems maintenance. Kurmi will manage and keep up-to-date with the changing regulations and security threats. Users can get support from their vendors on all the new features of KaaS.
Kurmi’s provisioning software enables enterprises to manage their administrators, end-users, corporate directories and ITSM, and unified communication and collaboration systems.
Kurmi won the Best Service Management Platform award at the UC Awards 2021.
