Mitel and BT have expanded their partnership to deliver a customisable UCaaS solution to UK business customers.

MiCloud UC and MiCloud CC allow UK businesses to easily migrate their communications to the cloud and gain the benefits of a complete business phone, collaboration, and contact centre solution in a subscription-based, low maintenance model. Customers already using a Mitel MiVoice Business system can even transfer their current configuration, retaining their existing hardware for maximum cost efficiency.

Based on Mitel’s MiCloud Flex technology, the new solutions are now available to BT’s customer base, which range from mid-market to enterprise and public sector organisations. A “significant” amount of these customers are already supported by Mitel’s solutions.

“Businesses are continuing to adopt highly flexible ways of working, and many of our customers are looking further ahead to their longer-term digital transformation goals,” stated Francesca Lee, Commercial Director, BT’s Enterprise unit.

“We’re at the forefront of offering converged digital solutions for business customers to embrace hybrid working and our partnership with Mitel supports our position. Through the MiCloud solutions, we’re expanding our offering to customers with an easy way to use cloud communications and collaboration capabilities to increase productivity and gain access to Mitel’s latest customer experience tools”

MiCloud UC and MiCloud CC are hosted in UK datacentres and offer businesses data sovereignty, compliance, and security. They also provide businesses with greater support, flexibility, and scalability for distributed workforces.

BT’s MiCloud UC offer includes  real-time communications to help streamline collaboration and accelerate decision-making. MiCloud CC supports contact centre capabilities that enable companies to enhance the experience they deliver to their customers, offering them the option of connecting at any time and via any channel they choose.

“The digitisation and new communication requirements driven by the pandemic are here to stay and businesses need flexible solutions to be able to adapt to new business practices,” added Richard Roberts, Mitel’s Vice President, UK&I and Northern Europe.

“With these new cloud offerings, Mitel and BT can truly support companies in navigating workplace shifts without compromising business goals by providing a smooth migration to a customer’s cloud of choice at the pace that’s right for their organisation”

“BT’s award-winning network combined with Mitel-powered cloud solutions will help businesses continue to deliver a better experience for their customers – and stay engaged regardless of where they’re working or what challenge comes next.”
