net2phone has acquired CCaaS provider Integra to strengthen its cloud communication and collaboration solution.

Buying out Integra allows net2phone to incorporate its CCaaS (contact centre as a service) technology bolstering its own to work alongside its UCaaS (unified communications as a service) offering.

Jonah Fink, CEO of net2phone, said: “As the CCaaS and UCaaS markets continue their exceptional growth trajectories, businesses are gravitating to providers who can support integrated communications-as-a-service offerings.”

“With the Integra CCaaS platform, our powerful UCaaS solutions, and our industry-leading SIP trunking service, we can provide holistic solutions that deliver unbeatable value. Our channel partners in the US, Canada, Brazil and Mexico have begun to introduce these packages and are extremely enthusiastic about their potential.”

Integra platform brings with it a contact centre with omnichannel support, development tools, workflow management, chatbots, and software and social media integrations.

Sebastián Guttiérez, CEO of Integra, said: “We are truly excited by the synergies with net2phone and are already working to leverage its global channel partner community, communications infrastructure and extensive carrier relationships to penetrate the broader SMB and mid-enterprise CCaaS markets.”

net2phone is a subsidiary of IDT (Integrated DNA Technologies), which funded the acquisition of Integra.

Shmuel Jonas, CEO of IDT, said: “We have acquired a great company with an accomplished team,”

“Integra is an outstanding fit for net2phone. Their innovative offerings are highly synergistic and when harnessed to net2phone’s global sales and channel partner network, we expect them to become a near term, powerful source of growth and expansion. Integra is already cash flow positive and generating near triple-digit revenue growth.”

net2phone claims to be growing faster than any other unified communications provider. They have had 300% year-over-year growth and they currently employ 1800 people worldwide.

The US-based company, net2phone, has been operating for 30 years. VoIP (voice over internet protocol) is the centrepiece of its UC technology.

UC Today’s Rob Scott recently spoke to Jonah Fink, President of net2phone. Jonah shared his perspective of the UCaaS marketplace in the year ahead.
