The new system has been designed to offer a cost-effective, intuitive, and all-in-one audio solution for classrooms in schools and education institutions as well as for business and corporate training spaces. Shure has recently announced that the MXW neXt 2 is now certified for Microsoft Teams.

Thanks to direct connectivity to videoconferencing systems, the new Microflex Wireless (MXW) neXt 2 is suitable for hybrid use cases that require audio capture of participants in the room, sound reinforcement of a presenter, and far end audio from remote presenters in a live setting or even for recording. This capability makes achievement of meeting equality simpler and faster.

Enterprises of all types and sizes increasingly see the value in buying technology and solutions that have been certified by UC platforms. This certification gives peace of mind that the products will work as expected with the UC platform and that the integration and configuration burden will be minimised.

Microsoft Teams certification makes it clear to users that they will enjoy seamless compatibility and reliable performance with Teams. “Certifications represent a significant technical achievement,” says Julie Crawford, the Strategic Alliance Senior Marketing Manager at Shure.

The Certification of MXW neXt 2 with the boundary mic configuration was achieved by undergoing thorough and demanding tests in technical labs and ensures exceptional audio in remote meetings where users need a quick and easy-to-use audio equipment. This assures both IT managers and end users that their conferences will run smoothly avoiding technical interruptions.

“By receiving Microsoft Teams certification, we demonstrate our dedication to providing IT professionals and AV managers with reliable, high-quality audio solutions that meet current market standards,” adds Crawford. “We are excited to continue expanding the possibilities for collaboration and innovation in the conferencing and higher education spaces.”

The MXW neXt 2 features a unique combination of advanced onboard DSP capabilities and comprehensive audio I/O connections, including USB-C, Dante networked audio, and analogue audio. The system pairs any of the three available microphone transmitter options at the touch-of-button, simplifying installation and offering outstanding audio out-of-the-box.

“MXW neXt 2 is an ideal new solution for IT professionals in higher education and corporate that require flexible solutions for teaching, hybrid presentations, conferencing and other hybrid scenarios that want to ensure enhanced meeting equity,” explains Doug Daube, the Director of Conferencing, Global Product Management at Shure.

“With the new Microsoft Certification, MXW neXt 2 will support seamlessly all hybrid situations delivering exceptional Microflex audio performance”
