Sinch has formed a product partnership with Webex by Cisco to create ‘Sinch Calling with Webex’.

The product offers users an integrated calling and collaboration experience within the Webex platform and includes advanced messaging and meeting functionalities.

The partnership brings together Sinch’s voice capabilities with Webex’s collaboration technology. The all-in-one solution means that businesses will not have to deal with multiple service providers.

Anders Lenman, Vice President of Enterprise Products at Sinch, commented on its new partnership with Webex: “Unified communication is essential in today’s business landscape, and we’re committed to offering robust solutions.

“Our collaboration with Webex is an important step that will provide businesses with a comprehensive, high-quality platform for all their communication needs.

“This integration not only enables companies to streamline their operations but also fosters value, trust, and loyalty with their customer base.”

According to Sinch, the service has been designed for optimal high-definition voice and video performance, which improves customer engagement and collaboration.

It believes Sinch Calling with Webex is ideal for companies requiring a high-quality, unified communications platform experience.

Companies that use disparate apps for voice, messaging, and meetings frequently face difficulties in maintaining quality and feature sets.

The new Sinch Calling with Webex removes these obstacles by providing enterprises with a seamless, end-to-end communication and collaboration solution, which operates from a single platform.

Sinch’s calling capabilities are powered by its Customer Communications Cloud, which enables conversations across messaging, voice, and email, with “unmatched scalability, deliverability, and cost-effectiveness”.

Over 150,000 businesses, including eight of the ten largest technology companies in the world, are using its platform, such as Google, Uber, PayPal, Visa, and 1st Bank.

Not only does Sinch give its customers access to every mobile phone on the planet, but it also connects to all of them seven or more times per year.

This combines with its other mindboggling network statistics like enabling 700 billion engagements a year, having over six hundred operator connections, and processing more than 3.5 billion email address verifications every year.

Tony Lopresti, Senior Director of Product Management for Webex, spoke about some of the integration benefits for Sinch users: “Building on our mutual vision to delight the small to medium business customer, Webex is partnering with Sinch to deliver Sinch Calling with Webex.

“With fully integrated Webex technology, Sinch users will experience a modern, all-in-one collaboration tool that delivers simple, flexible communications, making their businesses more productive and more secure, with any device from anywhere.”

Gartner recently named Sinch as a Leader in the 2023 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Communication Platforms as a Service (CPaaS). The first-ever Gartner Magic Quadrant for CPaaS saw Twilio, Infobip, and Vonage share the leader’s quadrant with Sinch.

In April 2023, Sinch partnered with Synoptek to provide professional and managed services for the Microsoft Teams Phone System.

Synoptek, a Microsoft Gold partner and Teams expert, enables Sinch to integrate managed services into Microsoft Teams Phone System with Operator Connect or Direct Routing solutions.

Integrations with Operator Connect were made possible following Sinch’s approval for Microsoft’s Operator Connect programme last year, which allows customers to utilise its voice services in Microsoft Teams.
