SoftApp has added a PC operator console to its Teams PBX offering which it says will allow receptionists to make βsplit-second decisionsβ when answering calls.
SoftAppβs cloud-based service The Voice of O365 lets organisations deploy Microsoft Teams or Skype for Business as a βfully-fledged PBX in the cloudβ.
The firm said its operator console combines all the information on a customerβs phone system onto one platform.
Jeroen Andre de la Porte, CEO at SoftApp, said:
βBeing native to Teams means that the call handling of this module works directly with the cloud communication APIs of Microsoft Teams that are deployed in Azureβ
βThis allows the end-customer also the freedom to use Microsoft calling plans.β
Based in Amersfoort in the Netherland, SoftApp sells its Teams and Skype for Business PBX systems across Europe via channel partners.
It claims that its new operator system allows for βefficient call handlingβ around answering, holding and transferring, while coming with calendar-based attendant and call queueing functionality.
The console is available via The Voice of O365 marketplace and StreamOne β the marketplace of distie Tech Data.
