Zoom has sold one million Zoom Phone seats less than two years after the product launched.
Zoom Phone hit the market in January 2019 and has since been rolled out rapidly to over 40 countries. Innovation on the product has also continued at a rate of knots throughout that period, to now boast over 400 features.

Zoom Phone has quickly become a staple of Zoomβs portfolio, and in November the firm revealed it had recently secured its largest ever Zoom Phone deal.
The voice service was also hailed as βabsolutely the fastest growing productβ for Zoom in the same quarter by Zoom CFO, Kelly Steckelberg.
Hitting the Mark
Zoom says that its phone product is seeing rapid adoption across all business segments β from small businesses right up the enterprise β with high-profile clients include Rakuten and eBay.
Susan Delaney, Director, Global Network Service at eBay, said that using the Zoom platform has increased productivity across the business.

Like the rest of the vendorβs portfolio, Zoom Phone prides itself on its reliable, enterprise-grade features and modern user experience.
Zoom Phone is available as an add-on as part of the Zoom Pro subscription, as well as in all higher tiers.
It is also including as part of Zoom United, which bundles Phone together with Meetings and Chat.
New features have been added at a relentless pace since the 2019 launch, with a notable recent addition being the ability to detect and block spam calls.
Zoom Phone Product Marketing Manager Cari Dick recently told UC Today that these tools are crucial in boosting user experience.
Other advances include improvements to security and privacy functionality; the introduction of Zoom SMS; and the ability for users to reserve phone numbers.
It is these 400-plus features that have helped propel Zoom to the forefront of the market, into an elite group that is tough to break in to.
In fact, Zoom forced its way into the top-right corner of Gartnerβs UCaaS Magic Quadrant towards the end of last year, when Zoom Phone was not even two yearsβ old.
The analyst praised Zoom for its platformβs ease of use and also for its robust SLA target of 99.999 per cent β despite Zoom Phone being relatively new to the market.
Gartner isnβt alone in praising Zoomβs credentials in the UC space.
Elka Popova, VP of Connected Work Research at Frost & Sullivan, said Zoom Phone has been an βastounding successβ.
βThanks to its innovative pricing model and widespread availability in more than 40 countries, it has quickly become an attractive option for many SMB and enterprise customers around the world,β she said.
