VanillaIP has integratedΒ WebexΒ into itsΒ UbossΒ platform, claiming to be the first company to offer channel partners a service comprising bothΒ WebexΒ and BroadSoft capabilities.Β
Cisco announced last year that it had integratedΒ WebexΒ withΒ BroadWorksΒ β the platform it owns via the acquisition of BroadSoft.Β VanillaIPΒ has now pulled this into itsΒ UbossΒ offering.Β
Iain Sinnott, Sales and Marketing Manager atΒ VanillaIP, saidΒ that the combination of BroadSoft andΒ WebexΒ withΒ MicrosoftΒ Teams, which already features inΒ Uboss,Β gives channel partners a best-in-class offering.Β
βI think whatβs really interesting about this is that weβve already launched a Microsoft Teams Direct Routing proposition, so this is really giving partners the two biggest brands in collaboration and meeting space on the market,β he said.Β
βVanillaIP resellers donβt have to pick one to sell regardless of requirement, they can have both in their portfolioβΒ
Sinnott claimed thatΒ VanillaIPΒ is the first to integrateΒ Webex andΒ BroadSoft technology into an offering for the channel.Β
Existing VanillaIP partnersΒ have been able to access the offering since early this week, with prospective partners set for onboarding on 26 January.Β
Sinnott teased that more announcements are in the pipeline for theΒ UbossΒ platform atΒ VanillaIPβsΒ channel event next month.Β Β
βWe have about four or five different products to announce and weβve got a couple of changes to theΒ UbossΒ proposition,β he said.Β
βButΒ WebexΒ is the big fill for us becauseΒ BroadSoftβsΒ weakness was its meeting and collaboration tool wasnβt strong enough, so I think this is a real completer for that all-in-one productβ
βBroadSoftΒ is still the most reliable and most complete dial tone telephony platform, the fact of the matter is that, as well as putting enhancements around call centres and mobility, we now have two strong meeting and collaboration links, one that is CiscoΒ Webex, from the same family asΒ BroadSoft, and the other which is Teams Direct Routing.β
