This introduction marks the last step in the full video wall portfolio renewal strategy, following the recent introduction of the new UniSee 500 from Barco, the OverView QLVD-521C, and the OverView KVD-5521C.
The Barco UniSee launched in 2017, and achieved exceptional enthusiasm from the market, along with a range of awards, like the “Best of the Best” award from Red Dot Design. The latest upgrade sees improvement in image quality, installation precision, reliability, and ease of servicing. Currently, more than 2,500 Barco video walls from the UniSee line have been issued for a range of use cases in all regions around the world.
According to VP of Immersive Experience for APAC at Barco, Ta Loong Gan, the UniSee modular platform is a completely future-proof solution designed to evolve with the use. The technology enables a market-leading level of 95% consistent brightness. The patented technology ensures no shadow zones around the screen edges, with backlighting for 100% of the pixels in a beautifully uniform format.
Amazing Visual Experiences
The decision to update the high-brightness performance UniSee device for another generation means Barco can deliver yet another step forward in image quality, with an improved color performance at wide angle viewing, and local dimming solutions to enhance contrast. The Barco UniSee is now suited for use in a wider range of applications than ever. There’s even the Barco Sense X tech for automatic collaboration to help further enhance the experience.
UniSee products also come with a patented mounting solution to allow for uniform and precise seams regardless of wall size. Furthermore, Barco enhanced the deployment and serviceability of its platform, supporting partners in getting the wall up and running to keep it operational with minimal interruptions. Introducing the video wall management suite will allow managed service providers and resellers to monitor the complete installation from a central environment.
The offering for managing the service comes free of charge within the warranty period and can be extended with a contract or subscription afterwards. The full Barco service portfolio has also been renewed to offer comprehensive packages for a complete product lifecycle.
