BlueJeans by Verizon, a leading solution for collaboration and cloud communication, recently announced new improvements to its Events service. The Events service helps companies around the world to host immersive experiences where people can learn and connect from a distance. Now, BlueJeans Events is better than ever.

The interactive video streaming platform now features new ways to improve attendee recruitment, follow up with clients post-event, and engage diverse audiences from all environments. BlueJeans by Verizon has implemented new changes by matching the expectations of an evolving audience to a more convenient meeting space. The BlueJeans Events system will now provide more modern and appealing virtual experiences while allowing managers to closely simulate on-site connections between customers.

The updates to the BlueJeans Events platform include the new option to live stream video to up to 50,000 attendees at once. There are also new features for dynamic promotions, integrated ticketing, and interactive video.

Transforming Virtual Events

The BlueJeans Virtual Events experience empowers companies and individuals alike to deliver amazing multi-purpose digital events. To support cross-functionality as companies transition events to the online world, BlueJeans added new integrations to work seamlessly with BlueJeans; these include connections with:

  • TicketSocket: Supporting event monetization, TicketSocket provides a white-labeled front-end payment and ticketing system that integrates with the BlueJeans Events environment to promote and collect payments with gated live streaming access
  • Splash: Today’s virtual event organisers can streamline promotions and follow-up with help from Splash. This service allows companies to create enticing event invitations and promotion opportunities, as well as dynamic registration forms. Organisations can build engaging participant outreach plans to drive attendance for all kinds of virtual events. Following integration with the Bluetooth Events solution, Splash will also create highly customisable assets for marketing, to help deliver a brand-centric experience
  • Salesforce: In a world where experience is everything, BlueJeans Events users can now capture data with convenient lead tracking for BlueJeans and Salesforce. Customers will be able to automate their sales and marketing strategies with integrated data sync for webinar attendees. Businesses can also remove the time-consuming task of filtering, cleaning, and uploading Excel documents by sending all lead data into a Salesforce campaign

Update Your Virtual Selling Experience

Aside from exciting new integrations with leading tools in the business landscape, BlueJeans has also announced other features for BlueJeans Events. For instance, the solution can now natively host up to 50,000 attendees, and 150 presenters. This is a massive increase from the 15,000 attendees available previously. The new upgrade allows users to engage much larger audiences.

What’s more, companies can connect with their audiences through any device, including smartphones and browsers. This ensures a better reach and more accessibility for any event. All the while, companies still maintain access to the control and interactivity features from BlueJeans.

BlueJeans Events is also launching an exciting new integration experience for YouTube Live. BlueJeans users can now broadcast their event over YouTube. BlueJeans Events is even making it easier to use the real-time messaging protocol too.

Access to this protocol will ensure that companies can stream events on various social media platforms like Twitter Periscope, Microsoft Stream, and LinkedIn Live. All the while, closed-captioning support is now available for free. This automated and real-time solution for translating conversations will ensure that companies can get their message to audiences in a way that’s clear and versatile.

A More Impressive Event Experience

Accompanying all of the other updates to BlueJeans Events is a new app share feature for chrome. This service builds on the previous screen-share option from BlueJeans. With the service, moderators and presenters can select individual applications from their desktop and share content to provide an extra layer of security and privacy. This also blocks unwanted content and notifications from being seen by the audience too.

Moderators can also instantly search for individual attendee names to bring more control and visibility to the event orchestrators. What’s more, these new features are available quicker than you might expect. Social media platform streaming will be available for customer preview as of September. All of the other integrations and features highlighted above are available for BlueJeans Events clients already.

You can keep track of new features as they emerge on the BlueJeans website or check out our reports at UC Today.
